Difference between PP material and PS material
PP, polypropylene, English name: Polypropylene, is a translucent, semi-crystalline thermoplastics.
PS, polystyrene, the English name is Polystyrene, environmental non-toxic, plasticity is very good, poor toughness crisp.
Difference between PP material and PS material?
First, the difference between the sound: PS material is relatively hard, so percussion sound sounds crisp. The PP material toughness, hardness is not enough, so the sound is more boring.
Second, the appearance of the difference: PS can be very permeable, PP up to the high permeability, but it looks still dull, like the feeling of frosted glass.
Third, the difference between the texture: pp toughness is good, and ps more rigid, feel feel is pp relative to ps to be soft.
In general, the same thickness pp, ps products, transparency ps> pp, hardness ps> pp, toughness pp> ps.
