What is PS material
PS plastic also known as general purpose polystyrene（GPPS）,Refers to a class of macromolecular chains including styryl groups of plastics, including styrene and its copolymers .

General Purpose Polystyrene is a thermoplastic resin that is a shiny, transparent bead or granular solid. Density 1.04 ~ 1.09, transparency 88% ~ 92%, refractive index 1.59 ~ 1.60. Product melting temperature 150 ~ 180 ℃, thermal decomposition temperature 300 ℃, heat distortion temperature 70 ~ 100 ℃, long-term use temperature of 60 ~ 80 ℃. If the production process by adding a small amount of α-methyl styrene, polystyrene can increase the general level of heat resistance.
It is soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, aliphatic ketones and esters, but only swell in acetone. Resistant to certain mineral oils, organic acids, bases, salts, lower alcohols and their aqueous solution. Low water absorption, in the wet environment can still maintain its mechanical properties and dimensional stability. Second only to the optical properties of acrylic resin. Excellent electrical properties, volume resistivity and surface resistivity are high, and is not affected by temperature and humidity changes, nor by the corona discharge. Radiation resistance is also very good.
